Come join Tosha in our Bread-Making 201 Class and continue your bread journey! In this hands-on class, we’ll dive deeper into the science and art of bread baking.
You’ll learn how to manipulate dough by adjusting:
• Hydration levels
• The amount of protein in flour
• Using flours from different plants
We’ll also have an in-depth discussion on how hydration levels affect bread crumb and explore the differences in flour proteins, including:
• Pizza flour
• All-purpose flour
• Bread flour
• Cake flour
• Wheat flour
• Organic flour
• Rye flour
• Whole wheat flour
During the class, you will make two delicious breads:
🥖 Olive & Rosemary Focaccia
🥖 Sourdough Loaf
What to bring:
• One 9x9 baking dish
• A loaf pan or Dutch oven
- You may bring wine/beer and snacks.Â
- Class size minimum is 6 and max is 12 students.Â
